Which cookies does this site use?
MyPsicoTest uses two first-party technical cookies, exempt from consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the service, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies that are only installed if you accept them:
Technical cookies (no consent required)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
mpt_lang |
Remember the language you chose in the switcher (Spanish, Catalan or English) to show you the site in that language on later visits. | 12 months | Technical, first-party |
mpt_consent |
Remember whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we do not ask again. | 6 months | Technical, first-party |
Analytics cookies (only if you accept them)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics 4: distinguish visitors anonymously. | 2 years | Analytics, third-party |
_ga_J2GHHB61WB |
Google Analytics 4: maintain session state. | 2 years | Analytics, third-party |
_clck |
Microsoft Clarity: anonymously identify the browser across visits. | 1 year | Analytics, third-party |
_clsk |
Microsoft Clarity: group the pages viewed in one session. | 1 day | Analytics, third-party |
These four are installed only if you press "Accept" in the cookie notice. Until you do, neither the Google nor the Microsoft script is downloaded. Clarity produces heatmaps and anonymous session replays with the test block masked: your answers and your result are not recorded. We use no advertising, remarketing or social media cookies.
How to change or withdraw your choice
In the footer you will find the "Cookie preferences" link, which brings the notice back so you can change your choice at any time. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it and analytics cookies are declined without asking.
How to disable the cookie
You can delete or block it from your browser settings. If you do, the site will keep working normally, but it will detect your device language again on each visit to the home page.
Local storage
Your test answers are not stored anywhere: they exist only while the page is open and disappear when you close or reload it. The browser only keeps, in its local storage, a timestamp per completed test and per visited article so that our anonymous counters do not count the same visit twice; it contains no personal data and you can delete it from your browser settings.
